As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has chosen to grant a "one-time chance" to students who haven't been able to finish their degrees during the past 25 years, the vice-chancellor of the university announced on Wednesday.

Vice Chancellor Mahesh Verma provided information about a variety of programming that will be hosted from October 5–10 as part of the 25th-anniversary festivities during a news conference that the university held here earlier in the day.

According to him, the GGSIPU would "honour 25 research scholars" who are engaged in the medical area. "We will be offering a one-time chance to students who, for various reasons, couldn't complete their degrees over the past 25 years," Verma told PTI as part of the university's ongoing silver anniversary festivities.

At the Talkatora Indoor Stadium, the university also hosted a "health mela" where anyone could receive free health examinations, advice, diagnostic tests, and expert discussions.
